Jocelyne Zablit takes part in roundtable discussion during kickoff meeting of Bulgarian/Romanian hub against disinformation

The event, organized by the Big Data for Smart Society Institute (GATE) in Sofia, is part of a weeklong event from January 23 to 27 titled “United against disinformation”.

The roundtable discussion on January 26 -- which will focus on the Code of Practice for fact-checkers in Bulgaria and Romania -- will be open to the public and will include interested stakeholders from the technology, media and academic sectors as well as NGOs.

Jocelyne Zablit, AFP Deputy Editor in Chief Europe, will talk about AFP’s role in the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) and the code of professional standards adopted last year by more than 40 fact-checking organisations across Europe.
