The Rubymar cargo ship, partly submerged off the coast of Yemen, sank on March 7, 2024, following a Huthi missile attack. The Belize-flagged vessel, operated by Lebanon, carried 21,000 metric tonnes of ammonium phosphate sulfate fertiliser, raising concerns of environmental hazards with the potential spill into the Red Sea.

This photo, taken on March 5, 2024, shows a vessel identified by the Philippine Coast Guard as the 'Chinese maritime militia' during sunrise in the disputed South China Sea. The Philippines reported that China Coast Guard vessels caused two collisions with Philippine boats and water-cannoned one of them, leaving four crew members injured during a resupply mission in the South China Sea.
