AFP to support World News Day 2024
Alongside hundreds of other news organizations, media support associations, and individuals from over 100 countries, AFP has committed to raise awareness about World News Day.
World News Day is a global campaign to amplify the value of fact-based journalism - a global initiative to draw public attention to the role that journalists play in providing trustworthy news and information that serves citizens and democracy.
WND is presented by the World Editors Forum - the network for editors within the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), The Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) and Daily Maverick’s Project Kontinuum.
