AFP launches its new multimedia platform, AFP Forum: the entire news production in text, photo, video and infographics available on one site
AFP Forum brings together the old download platforms for photo, text and video (ImageForum, AFP-Direct and VideoForum respectively) on one multimedia platform optimized for all uses: written press, websites, television, mobile content, content providers, public screens, institutions…
A dedicated editorial team curates thematic folders, retrospectives, anniversaries and “best-of”s daily on 6 categories: news, the economy, sports, celebrities, features and fashion.
The platform is centered around a completely customizable user-experience with an optimized search-engine, geolocalized browsing, shared features with other users, and a multimedia alert system by email to stay on top of all the breaking news.
AFP’s archives are also available on the platform, with over 40 million documents from the 20th and 21st centuries comprised of analyses, news reports, biographies, retrospectives, portraits, historical archives…
AFP Forum is available for all new clients since April 7th, and will be progressively rolled out for existing clients starting in the Middle East and the Maghreb, followed by the French and the rest of the world until April 2015.
